"I chose to come to Lakehead University because of the excellent courses, diversity of programs offered and the amazing faculty members. Lakehead is the right university for me because of the excellent graduate programs that are offered. Lakehead University encompasses a small, friendly, and close knit environment. If you are looking for these types of characteristics in a university then Lakehead is the place for you! I am also happy to say that being a Sociology student is an AWESOME learning experience and it presents you with such a great opportunity to learn more about the world around you. 

 

My favourite place to hang out on campus is the Study coffeehouse. I love the atmosphere and the great music that they play. When the weather is nice I like to be outside, anywhere around campus, to get my studying done.

 

Outside of class I like to go for bike rides, play with my dog, watch movies/TV and spend time with my family and friends."
