"I came to Lakehead because I liked that it was a small school which allowed for more one-on-one time with professors and that there was a more personal feel in obtaining my post secondary education. Lakehead is a very student-friendly environment and if you ever have any problems, the faculty and staff here are always there to help you out. Furthermore, it is very easy to meet new people here as the atmosphere is very open and welcoming. The English program here is amazing, the classes are interesting and the faculty members are very approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. 

 

I find that the best places to hang out on campus are at the Fieldhouse, the Outpost, and the Agora; there is always something going on in these three places!  When it comes time to study I usually go to the 5th floor of the ATAC or sit in the lounge area; the Fieldhouse computer labs are good as well.

 

Outside of class I am involved in athletics; I've worked with most of the varsity teams as a trainer for the past 3 years (mainly with the men's and women's Basketball teams). Other than that, I love to write and spend time with my family and friends."
