"I chose to come to Lakehead University because it allowed me to stay in Northwestern Ontario and I find that I work well in a small class setting where it's easier to get to know your profs and classmates. If you choose Lakehead, you will experience the best that Northwestern Ontario has to offer- you'll love it! Also, the Chemistry program is fantastic; the faculty, students and staff are all very approachable and are willing to help! The department has a really positive atmosphere which makes getting assistance with something that much easier. 

 

As a new student, make sure you get involved in the university outside of the classroom as well. Personally, my favourite place to hang out with my friends while on campus would have to be in the townhouses in residence and my favourite study spot on campus would have to be the 5th floor of the ATAC! So make sure you explore the campus, engage yourself and make a difference!"
