Lakehead University
Residence is an exciting environment to be a part of!
At Lakehead University Residence we
are concerned with your physical environment and the activities that
promote the personal growth of those who make up our Residence Community. University is not limited to simply lectures
and laboratories! It is a combination of
both in-class and out-of-class learning, meeting new friends, sharing new and
past experiences and discovering new insights about the world and
yourself. Our Residence community
provides an opportunity to further the learning experience that takes place
outside of the classroom. In this way
you can enhance your educational experience by getting to know and understand
each other through exposure to different ideas and ways of life.
Inter-house activities play a big
part in the recreational atmosphere of Lakehead University Residence. By providing the proper physical environment
and programming of activities, we hope to foster in our residents a feeling of
mutual trust and an increasing sense of responsibility and personal worth.
It is our hope that you will regard Residence as not just a place to keep you warm and dry, but your "home away from home."
