As a student at Lakehead University, there are many opportunities for you to get involved in the Lakehead community. Contribute to the campus community by volunteering your time to help out while building your leadership skills.
Here's a couple of ways you can get involved during your time here at Lakehead:
Student Ambassador Program
After your first Orientation, you can give back by making a positive difference in the life of a first year student through the Student Ambassador (SA) Program during the year-round New Student Orientation Program and other events and initiatives on campus. Find out more here about how you can become an ambassador in Thunder Bay or Orillia.
Lakehead Leaders
Joining Lakehead Leaders is the way for you to become a catalyst for change. Providing you with the expertise to excel in the real world, Lakehead Leaders will empower you through skills-based seminars, community engagement activities, and specialized leadership training. Upon completion, a Certificate in Leadership and record of engagement become a personal testament to your skills as a leader and a powerful resume building tool.
Will you simply live in the future...or be the one who defines it?
Orientation Volunteers
Be a part of Orientation by volunteering your time to help out with planning and organizing events as well as taking part in activities.
